What makes you think that you can help the impoverished?

Answer:

1) God says we should (it is a part of his kingdom work) 2) God says we can (we are free to serve Him) 3) God tells us that we have help (the Spirit enables us) If we look at the problem through modern thinking, we sense that big things need to be done to fight all of the poverty that exists. But if we look at it from the point of view of God's call to service, we know that we must simply do what we can. Plus, it cannot be denied that we have the knowledge and resources to help those who are impoverished. Many people try to say we don't or that it can't be transferred.
